Terms of use
Calendarloom is free to use and needs no account. Anything you generate with it is yours. The rest of this page sets out the details, in plain language.

Who provides this service
Calendarloom is operated by Epacta Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Betéti Társaság (Epacta Bt.), 7634 Pécs, Ércbányász u. 32., Hungary. Full company details are on the imprint page. Using the site means these terms apply between you and us.
What it costs
Nothing. There is no paid tier, no trial that expires, no watermark to remove and no account to create. We do not ask for an email address and there is no mailing list. If that ever changes, it will change openly, on this page, for calendars made afterwards — not retroactively for anything you have already downloaded.
The calendars you make are yours
You own the PDFs you generate here, outright. You may print them, share them, give them away, sell them, put them on a wall in a shop or hand them out at work. No attribution is required and no permission is needed, including for commercial use.
This is deliberate. A calendar you cannot use freely is not much of a calendar.
What remains ours
The site itself — its design, its code, the Calendarloom name and logo, and the text on these pages — belongs to us. Please do not copy the site wholesale, present it as your own, or use the name and logo in a way that suggests we are involved in something we are not.
Fair use of the service
Use it as much as you like for making calendars. Please do not attempt to disrupt it, overwhelm it with automated requests, or use it to distribute anything unlawful. Everything runs in your own browser, so heavy use costs you far more than it costs us — but the request stands.
Accuracy, and where to check
We take the data seriously and test it against independent sources, but a calendar is something people plan around, so be clear about what it is:
- Public holidays come from the Nager.Date public holiday database, and are the officially observed dates. They can change when a government changes them, and regional holidays do not apply everywhere in a country. Check anything that matters — travel, contracts, payroll — against an official source.
- Moon phases are computed from established astronomical algorithms and given in UTC. Near midnight, the calendar day depends on your own time zone.
- Sunrise and sunset times are computed for the location you choose and do not account for local terrain or unusual atmospheric conditions.
- The garden and lunar day sections print a long-standing folk tradition. The astronomy underneath is real; the meanings attached to it are not scientific findings, and nothing in them is medical, health or horticultural advice. The sheet says so, and so do we.
No warranty
The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise it will always be available, free of errors, or compatible with every browser and printer.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using the site or from relying on the data it prints — including missed dates, missed deadlines and wasted paper.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited: death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any statutory rights you have as a consumer. If you are a consumer in the European Union, your mandatory local consumer rights are unaffected by these terms.
Links to other sites
Where we link elsewhere — to a data source or an authority — we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Privacy
The privacy notice explains what happens to data. In short: your calendar is built on your own device, and what you type never reaches us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Hungarian law, and the courts of Hungary have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country in which you live, nor of your right to bring proceedings there.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and changes apply from the day they are published.
