A4 calendar
Built at 210 × 297 mm, so it prints on A4 at its real size — no shrinking, no uneven white border down one side.
Why the paper size has to be right
A4 and Letter are close enough to look interchangeable and different enough to spoil a print. A4 is 210 × 297 mm; Letter is 216 × 279 mm — narrower and noticeably shorter. Print an A4 design on Letter and the bottom of the calendar is cut off or squeezed; the other way round leaves a strip of white.
The PDF carries its page size inside the file, so a printer set to A4 reproduces it exactly. The one thing to check is the print dialog: set the scale to 100% or "Actual size", never "Fit to page".
The defaults on this page
Because A4 is used almost everywhere except North America, this page also opens with the conventions that usually go with it: weeks starting on Monday and dates written day/month. All three are independent settings, so change any of them without disturbing the others.
