How France sets school holidays
- France sets dates nationally but in three rotating zones (A, B and C), so Lyon, Paris and Toulouse take their winter and spring breaks in different weeks. The tables below list the dates per région, as the source records them.
- Christmas and the summer are common to all zones; it is the February and April breaks that rotate. For summer the source records the end of lessons in early July rather than a dated range — classes resume at the rentrée on 1 September.
- Corsica and the overseas territories publish their own calendars, which can differ from the mainland zones.
